Media Panel Wales is run by TRP Research on behalf of S4C.  We ask about Welsh language fluency to ensure that our panel represents the population of Wales.

A shout-out to young people in Wales to participate in Media Research.

Media Panel Wales is currently looking for young people aged 16 – 24 years old, from all areas of Wales to take part in surveys about tv programmes and other media.

The weekly surveys are quick and easy to fill-in, and you can choose to be rewarded with Amazon vouchers or donate your rewards to a charity.  If you’re a member of a community group (e.g. a local sports club) then get them involved too and together you could earn up to £500 a year for your group/club!

The research is conducted by TRP Research on behalf of S4C.

2020 proved to be a very different year!

Due to Coronavirus we, like everyone else, had to make some changes in the way that we worked. Some of the changes made included introducing a phone survey for those members who usually take our postal surveys, taking part in virtual events and advertising more online.

We’re super grateful to all our members for their continued support and glad to announce that during 2020 we rewarded our members with £12,200 worth of shopping vouchers, paid out £3,400 to community groups as part of our community funding scheme and donated £1,965 on behalf of our members to our nominated charities.

Did you know that you can fundraise for your group, club or local charity by encouraging your members/supporters to take our simple weekly surveys?

You will need to get between 2 and 20 members/supporters to sign up to Media Panel Wales and name your group, club or charity to receive their reward.

Once your members/supporters have signed up they will receive a weekly survey about what they watch and listen to and each time they complete a survey we will reward your group, club or charity with credits.

When your members/supporters have collectively earned 100 credits £50 will be transferred directly into your group’s nominated bank account

Did you know that you can take part in Panel Cyfryngau Cymru Media Panel Wales by post?

Panel Cyfryngau Cymru Media Panel Wales conducts weekly research into the viewing and listening habits of the people of Wales.

We send out weekly surveys giving you the opportunity to have your say about the things that you watched and listened to in the previous week.

We offer shopping vouchers, community funding or donations to our nominated charity as reward for taking part (click HERE for details). We also conduct regular member prize draws.

If you would like to take part by post, you can join ONLINE or by calling 07494 506 962. We will then send you our weekly surveys with a freepost envelope so that you can return the survey to us for free.

We had a great time at the Eisteddfod in Llanrwst, it was lovely to catch up with our existing members, and of course to welcome our new members to Media Panel Wales!

Everybody who signed up during the week to participate in the research should receive their first survey soon.

Members can choose to donate their credits to one of our nominated charities.

Once a member collects 10 credits we automatically donate £5 to their chosen charity.

We have donated £5,415 to charities on behalf of our members since the Panel launched.

2018 was another great year for Media Panel Wales.

We recruited and caught up with our members at several national events, including two visits to Builth for the Urdd Eisteddfod and the Royal Welsh Show, we had a great time at the National Eisteddfod in Cardiff Bay and also visited many local events and community groups all over Wales.

We reward our members for all completed surveys and are very pleased to announce that we have rewarded our members with the following during 2018:

£11,290 in shopping vouchers

Donated £1,650 to nominated charities

Awarded £4,339 to community groups

We’re very pleased with the growth of the Panel and are very grateful to our members for their continuous support.
